Trail of Trees at
the Texas Capitol |
|
The latest edition of the
Trail of Trees at the Texas Capitol was
co-sponsored by the Texas Chapter of the
International Society of Arboriculture, the
Texas Forest Service and the State Preservation
Board. |
|
The guide is designed to help
you recognize and appreciate 25 tree species
found on the historic Capitol grounds. The trail
starts at the State Seal of Texas located on the
steps just outside the south Capitol entrance
door. The trail can be traveled comfortably in
one hour. The map inside the front cover should
help you find your way. |
|
Thousands of these brochures
will be available at the Capitol to help educate
about trees and tree care and to increase the
public's appreciation for trees.
